Stephen Dennis – The Farming Community Network (FCN)

Stephen Dennis is the Southwest Regional Manager and National TB Lead for The Farming Community Network (FCN), a voluntary organisation that supports farmers and their families through difficult times. FCN provides practical, confidential help to those facing challenges such as financial pressure, animal disease, mental health concerns, or personal hardship.

With extensive experience supporting the agricultural community, Stephen works closely with farmers across the region, offering guidance, understanding, and access to vital support networks.

RABI (Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution)

RABI provides free, confidential support for farmers, farm workers and their families across England and Wales. Their services include mental health counselling, financial assistance, welfare advice, practical guidance and a 24/7 support helpline for those facing difficult circumstances.

If you or someone you know works in agriculture and needs support, RABI is there to help.

Farmerados

Farmerados was a community initiative that provided safe spaces, conversation and peer support for members of the farming community across Somerset. After supporting more than 2,000 farming people over four years, the charity concluded its work in 2026 and now signposts people to other organisations that continue to provide mental health and wellbeing support.

Samaritans

Samaritans provides free, confidential emotional support to anyone who is struggling, feeling overwhelmed or in emotional distress. Their trained volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to listen without judgement, offering a safe space to talk through whatever you’re facing.
